I began serving clients in 1981 when I opened my first law office in Chula Vista. I was in Chula Vista for 15 years before moving downtown to open my San Diego divorce law firm, a few blocks from the family law courthouse. Over the years, I have represented thousands of people in all the courts of San Diego County, including Chula Vista, Vista in North County and El Cajon. I have also traveled to El Centro, Orange County and Los Angeles.

Certified Specialist in Family Law
To be considered a specialist in family law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization, an attorney must go through an additional bar exam, peer review and ethics review by the State Bar of California. He or she must attend ongoing classes and demonstrate a high level of experience in family law. I am one of a small percentage of California attorneys who hold this honor.
Military Divorce Representation
Many of my clients are members of the military — or former military members — in other areas of the world. I understand the unique challenges posed by a military divorce, especially the concern over distance. I do everything I can to help clients overseas, communicating through e-mail, phone, mail or fax. In fact, many of my clients never have to step foot in my office or in California.
